C LIFFORD LILLEY, former actor and decorator, is one of Switzerland’s most well-known stylists and image design consultants. He is equally well known for his energetic and high calibre presentation style. Born in Cape Town, South Africa in 1951 he has lived in Switzerland since 1980.
Clifford Lilley offers professional image consulting services to men and women on an individual or group basis. Also available are personal shopping, wardrobe planning, custom clothing and “Knigge” or etiquette training.
He is a well-known presence in the media and has appeared on several TV shows in Switzerland and abroad as a makeover specialist and styling expert. TV channels on which he has appeared include: SF TV,TV3, RTL2, NDR, TeleZüri, SAT1, U1 TV, Viva and Star TV.
He is a regular guest on all major Swiss radio stations contributing tips and insight into current trends and commenting on the fashions of the day.
He is much sought after as a speaker and gives corporate image workshops for men and women for the Swiss clothing store, Herren Globus. He has given corporate programs to UBS, Credit Suisse, Migros Bank, Bank Julius Bär, Ernst & Young, SONY AG, Zürich Insurance Company, GE Money amongst others.
Clifford also has his own Lifestyle column in the Swiss newspaper “Blick” which appears every second Saturday and in which he answers reader’s questions pertaining to matters of image and style.
Since April of this year, Clifford is co-author of a book on men’s style called “Der Dresscode” (Orell Füssli 2007).
